Group and bulk visitor check-in for events

23 Aug 2026 5 min read

Events break normal reception. A hundred people arriving in the same fifteen minutes will overwhelm a desk built for one-at-a-time check-in, and the fallback — a printed list and a highlighter — is slow, error-prone and impossible to search afterwards.

Why events need a different flow

The defining feature of an event is concurrency: many arrivals at once, often expected, frequently in groups. The goal is to move that wave through quickly while still knowing who actually came.

How bulk and group check-in work

  • An organiser uploads or invites the guest list ahead of time — bulk pre-registration.
  • Each guest gets a QR pass, so arrival is a scan, not a form.
  • Groups can be checked in together against the expected list.
  • Every attendee lands in the log, with no manual tallying.

Contactless keeps it moving

A QR pass on each guest's phone means touchless check-in at the door — many people scanning in parallel instead of queuing for one kiosk. The rush becomes orderly, and you still get an accurate attendee record.
