What is Aadhaar visitor verification?
It is verifying a visitor's identity against Aadhaar before granting access — either online through a UIDAI-certified AUA/KUA (OTP) or offline via OVSE (secure QR / Aadhaar Paperless Offline e-KYC), rather than just recording a name in a logbook.
Is the Aadhaar number stored?
No. Verification is consent-based and the full Aadhaar number is never stored — only the result and the attributes you need to manage the visit, aligned with the DPDP Act.
Does it work without internet or an OTP?
Yes. Offline verification (OVSE) validates the UIDAI-signed secure QR or Paperless Offline e-KYC with no live UIDAI call and no OTP — ideal for plant gates and remote sites.
Is Aadhaar verification available outside India?
