How is this different from a visitor logbook?
A logbook records whatever a visitor writes down — it verifies nothing. Certopact checks the visitor's identity against Aadhaar or DigiLocker and keeps a searchable, consent-based, exportable record. Logging is not identity verification.
Do you store the visitor's Aadhaar number?
No. Verification is consent-based and the full Aadhaar number is never stored — only the result and the details you need to manage the visit, in line with the DPDP Act.
Can we pre-register expected visitors?
Yes. Hosts can pre-register guests in advance so check-in is a quick confirmation, while walk-ins self-check-in at the kiosk with host approval.
